CDC Approves 6 New Investment Projects Worth Nearly US $67 Million

PHNOM PENH: The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved six new investment projects with a total investment of nearly US $67 million and more than 6,000 jobs.

The CDC has announced that the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia has decided to issue investment project registration certificates to six companies, including:

MEKO INTELLIGENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: installs lamps and all kinds of electronic accessories, is located in Veas Pous Village, Khvav Commune, Samrong District in Takeo Province, with an investment capital of US $32 million, and can create 1,828 jobs.

KHALANDALE CO., LTD: a supermarket construction project located at Lot Mx04 (CBD6), Boeung Kak, Village 1, Srah Chak District, Daun Penh Commune in Phnom Penh, with an investment capital of US $10 million, and can create 668 jobs.

K (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: project to establish an ISUZU car assembly plant, which is located in the village of National Rescue, Trapeang Kong Commune, Samrong Tong District in Kampong Speu Province, with an investment capital of approximately US $7.3 million and can create 166 jobs.

BECIS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: project to establish a steam and hot air factory to supply beer and beverage factories, located in Boang Kanh Village, Prek Eang District, Chbar Ampov Commune in Phnom Penh, with an investment capital of approximately US $6.7 million and can create 82 jobs.

CAMBODIAN PAW SHIELD CO., LTD: project to establish a pet food factory located at #I-4A-12, Prek Sangke Village, Teuk Thla Commune, Prey Nob District, Preah Sihanouk Province, with an investment capital of approximately US $5.5 million, and can create 495 jobs.

And X.Y.H. (CAMBODIA) GARMENT CO., LTD: Garment factory project located in Santepheap Village, Tang Krouch Commune, Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province, with an investment capital of US $5.4 million and can create 2,789 jobs.
